33 year old married women who is married to a wonderful German man. We have been together for 8+years now and recently moved to Germany September 09. My blog is about starting over in life. To move to another country, culture shock, learning a new language, growing in a marriage, losing weight, accepting what life give me and take away from me, fashion, hair, cooking, daily thoughts, and perhaps find out… who am I really and why do I exist?

It has tuturial videos, blogs of some delicious dishes, and photos. The link is below if your interested. All is welcome to join..you do not have to be skillful in the kitchen. If you watch my video you see I am one hot mess

Hi Lora,
As you know I have already read this blog post and YES I will use it – I just thought as the holidays got closer you might do more, maybe some photos too.
I have a question – when do the Germans celebrate Halloween because you mentioned Lent and that precedes Easter which is in the Spring sometime. I’m going to link the one you already wrote some time around Thanksgiving.
Yes, I know and thank you:)
I plan to do a Christmas blog. Because the other holidays we would typically celebrate in America really does not exist here.
Only a handful of Germen celebrate Halloween not much. They are slowly adopting Halloween here in October. The only thing close to Halloween is Fasching which is in February. But it is not really Halloween celebration but the custom are very close to the American Halloween tradition just no candies are involved. Only costumes, parade, music, dancing, and live performance.
There is really not much to write about honestly until Christmas time and after:(
Hello my friend. Haven’t heard much from you lately, I hope you are doing well.
Hi DG, I am not hardly on WordPress. I am giving it a year break to focus more on life plus I have a few surprises I don’t want my fat fingers to spoil:))) I hope all is well with you.
